REVIEW PROCESS
Upon receipt of the article, the journal will promptly send an acknowledgment receipt to the author(s) via email. It is imperative that the author(s) download and adhere to the sample manuscript provided via this link: https://www.nijse.net . Articles that deviate from the journal's prescribed format, as outlined in the sample manuscript, will be returned to the author(s) for revision with comments.
For authors who have followed the journal's prescribed format, the formal review process will commence. The article will be assigned a unique identification number, and all identifying information about the author(s) will be removed by the journal's secretary to ensure a double-blind review process.
The manuscript will then undergo a comprehensive plagiarism check and be assigned to two peer reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The peer review process will be double-blind, maintaining anonymity between the reviewers and the author(s).
The two peer reviewers will have two weeks to provide their individual reviews to the Chief Editor (formerly EIC). Upon receipt of the reviews, the Chief Editor will forward them to the author(s) for necessary revisions or actions, within a two-week timeframe.
In cases of split decisions, where one peer reviewer recommends rejection while the other recommends acceptance, the Chief Editor will assign a third peer reviewer to provide an additional evaluation before conveying the final decision to the author(s).
Once the author(s) have submitted their revisions, the assigned Associate Editor, along with the Managing Editor and language reviewer(s), will have one week to review the article and recommend either its approval for publication or its return to the author(s) for further revisions based on feedback or comments.
Upon reaching the Chief Editor's office, the article will undergo a final review, and a decision regarding publication will be made within 10 days.
